Jenni turns to Sinn. "I'm fine, Sinn, just a little... I don't know. I guess... well, I told Iolaus that I'm a little fearful of the feelings I have for Hercules."
Sinn laughed, a little. "Jenni, those feelings are natural. Go with them."
"But he's a demi-god. I'm just a mortal serving two gods. I can't possibly win him over. Besides, I did go out with his best friend."
Sinn looked over at Iolaus with love in her eyes then she turned back to Jenni. "You're being foolish. I'm sure you've had these feelings for him before tonight."
"No, I haven't. Not even when he visited me at Ares' Temple. Oh, Sinn, what am I going to do?"
"Have fun," Sinn stated clearly. "Go back to Hercules. Dance with him. Laugh, joke, eat, have a few drinks, mingle... anything, but just have fun! If you still feel the same when the party comes to an end... take a walk with him and talk. Tell him what you are feeling, because, girlfriend, it looks to me like he's feeling the same about you."
"You're right. What am I so worried about?" Jenni hugged her friend (new friend). "Thanks, Sinn."
"Hey, I'm here for you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go ask Iolaus for a dance." Sinn left Jenni's side and grabbed Iolaus and drug him onto the dance floor.
Jenni was on her way back to Hercules when Ares stepped into her way. "I see you've taken a liking to my brother."
"Lord Ares! I didn't see you there... Yes, I kinda like Hercules. Is there a problem?"
"Just don't get too COZY with him. You are still under my protection..."
"And mine too," Cupid interrupted. "Ares, leave Jennifer alone. This is my Temple and my party. Let her choose her own date."
Ares shot a nasty look at Cupid. "This time..." was all he said as he headed for another of his pristesses.
Cupid took Jenni's hands. "Don't worry about that ole grinch. Go and have fun with Uncle Herc." Cupid kissed her hands and left. Jenni shook her head, sighed and rejoined Hercules.
