Sinn grinned at Kim as she started to sip her Tequila. Caesar smiled wickedly at Kim and handed her the salt.
"Have fun you two!" she called over her shoulder, as she made her way to greet Ped with the other Priestesses.
"Hi Ped" she smiled.."Glad you could make it!"
The Priestesses spent the next few minutes talking with Ped and catching up..then Sinn excused herself to go back to Iolaus, who'd been speaking to Hercules and Jenni. She came up behind him and put her arms around him.
"I'm back!"..she teased.
Iolaus turned around and kissed her on the cheek.
"So I see." he smiled down at her.
"Want to get a drink?" she asked..
"Sure..Jenni, Herc..you guys want anything?"
"Actually...I was just about to need a refill"..Jenni replied.
"Well....why not? I'll go with you" Hercules said.
"Make mine a White Russian!" Sinn called after them. Then she turned back to Jenni.
"Well, you've really done a great job with this, Dragonflyer! I hope everyone has a good time."
"Yeah, hopefully."
Just then Kim and Caesar came over to join them.
"I really *do* like your hair, Kim" she said as they approached.."and the two of you look great!"
She leaned in to whisper to Kim.."Is this some kind of comment about Ares and the Furies?" she giggled.
Kim laughed. "That's *exactly* what Ares asked me!"
"I heard that" Ares said behind them.
"Sorry, Lord Ares"..Sinn grinned sheepishly at him.
This was the last thing she needed after the way she'd blown up at him and Cupid not more than a week before.
Ares kissed her on the top of the head.
"No problem, Sinn-dee..I'm starting to get used to this side of you. You were so shy before."
"Well, it was your presence that made me so.." she admitted.
"Speaking of presence, where in Hades is Cupid?" Kim asked.
There was a flash, and suddenly Cupid was before them.
"I thought I heard my name" he said.
"It's about time.." Sinn teased him.
"Sorry doll..had to speak with a few Priestesses."
"I'll bet." Kim said.
"Hey!" Cupid pretended to look hurt. "Do I look like that kind of God?"
"Well, actually.." Kim began.
Cupid silenced her with a kiss on the lips. Caesar looked less than amused by this, raising an eyebrow.
"I'll talk to you later" he whispered in her ear, stealing a smirk at Caesar over her shoulder, then he headed off to greet Ped, Kiari, Autolycus, and Zelena.
Finally Iolaus and Hercules came back with Jenni and Sinn's drinks, plus their own.
Hercules handed Jenni hers, and said "Cheers" They clinked glasses.
Iolaus handed Sinn her White Russian.
"I decided to have the same" he told her.
Sinn said "Great!" and they also clinked glasses.
As they drank, the sounds of the Beatles "Girl" drifted through the air..
"Ooooo..I love this song!" Sinn exclaimed..setting her drink down on the buffet table behind Jenni.
"Will you dance with me, Iolaus"..
"Sure" he said..taking her hand..
